Semi-Trailer Maintenance Guidelines

Tire Inspection
Check tire pressure monthly at ambient temperature. If the pressure falls below the normal standard, inflate the tires immediately. Tire pressure must not be too high or too low, as this compromises driving safety. Inspect the tires for cracks; if any safety hazards are detected, replace the tires immediately. When selecting replacement tires, ensure that they are of the same model and specifications.

Battery Maintenance and Inspection
Verify that the battery is securely fastened. The electrolyte level should be situated between the upper and lower limit marks; if it approaches the lower limit, immediately top it up with electrolyte or distilled water until it reaches the upper limit. Ensure that the positive and negative battery cables maintain good contact, and keep the battery clean and dry. For vehicles that have been parked for an extended period, disconnect the positive and negative battery cables. Reconnect the cables and start the engine for approximately 20 minutes every two weeks or so; if the battery charge appears significantly low, recharge it immediately.

Inspection of Clutch Master Cylinder Fluid Level
A clutch fluid level situated between the "High" and "Low" marks indicates normal operation. If the level falls below the standard line, it may indicate damage to the piston cups (seals) within the master cylinder or slave cylinder. If this condition occurs while the engine is running, you may experience difficulty shifting gears or be unable to engage any gears; please proceed immediately to the nearest service station for inspection and repair.
